3 Portable Emergency Water Storage Jugs Compared

We’re looking at portable water storage because water is heavy and in an emergency you may need to take your stored water with you. 1 gallon of water weighs 8.33 pounds (3.78 kg). The Red Cross recommends you have 1 gallon of water, per person, per day; a 3 day supply for evacuation and a 14-day supply for sheltering-in-place.
