The entire unit weighs just 384 grams. The compact size makes it suitable to use handheld or attach to a helmet for hands-free operation.

A 60Hz frame rate and high-definition 1024×768 OLED help provide a crisp image, according to Armasight. Three buttons control all the operations for easy manipulation in the field, including one-touch, in-unit video recording.

The Sidekick 640 offers an extensive suite of features, including video and image capture, USB video stream, USB-C interface for viewing recordings and photos on external devices, including computers or televisions.
