Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph—Pocket-Size Velocity Tracker

[ad_1]

Garmin has been making strides in the tactical arena with its Tactix line of watches and the Foretrex Ballistic watch. For years, the company has been working to bolster the ballistic category with highly portable wrist and pocket solutions. Now, Garmin introduces the Xero C1 Pro pocket-sized chronograph that goes with you wherever you go.

The Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph

Measuring just under the size of a deck of cards, the Xero C1 Pro weighs just over 100 grams. As a result, the chronograph can slip right into a pocket and easily travel wherever you go. In addition, featuring an IPX7 waterproof rating, the chronograph is ready for any range and any weather.

Featuring a sunlight-readable, high-contrast display, the Xero C1 Pro delivers all the essentials in an easy-to-read format. During a session, the chronograph displays the speed of the projectile, as well as shot count and average speed. In addition, it also displays standard deviation and extreme spread after each shot.

When you have completed your session, the Xero C1 Pro provides an on-screen Session Summary. This includes the minimum, maximum, and average speed of the shots, as well as extreme spread and standard deviation. The display is customizable to show the Power Factor and Kinetic Energy when the projectile grain weight is entered.

The Xero C1 Pro can capture the velocity data for more than just bullets. It also has the capability to track arrows, crossbow bolts, shotgun slugs, paintballs, and airsoft devices.

Outfitted with Bluetooth connectivity, the Xero C1 Pro connects to your smartphone via the ShotView App. The easy-to-use app provides your shot data in organized fields for rapid interpretation. Users can then mark shots as clean/cold bore and can exclude outliers from session calculations. Likewise, users can create custom names for the sessions and add detailed notes to the specific shots or the entire session.

Operating on an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Xero C1 Pro provides details on 2,000 shots or up to six hours.
