J.P. Sauer recently announced the addition of H-S Precision stocks to the SAUER 100 LWT and Pantera XT rifle lines. The rifles become the first SAUER offerings fitted with H-S Precision stocks, complete with a 7075 aluminum bedding block with Kevlar, fiberglass, and carbon material for strength in a lightweight package.

J.P. SAUER 100 LWT & Pantera XT Rifles

The LWT and Pantera XT comprise rifle designs built for precision hunters and shooters. SAUER promises the rifles accurate, rugged, and reliably, backing up the claim with a five-shot, sub-MOA performance guarantee. Each rifle features a SAUER-style bolt and adjustable single-stage trigger set from 2.2 to 4.2 pounds. A five-round detachable, double-stack magazine feeds the action. A three-position safety and cold hammer-forged barrel round out the platforms.

“We have paired German performance with American innovation in these new SAUER 100 models to offer hunters and shooters the best of both worlds when it comes to precision, accuracy, and ergonomics,” said Jason Evans, CEO, Blaser Group.

Editor’s Note:

With the explosion in popularity in all things long-range precision over the last several years, here you see more residual effects. More shooters plink, compete or hunt at long-range than ever before. And the long-range pros have proven the worth of quality chassis and stock systems. H-S Precision stocks remain a favorite for rifle builds. But not J.P. SAUER delivers a production model with most every upgrade a shooter could want. Priced at under $2,000, they should be fairly competitive at the higher end of the hunting category.
