Marooned and Attuned: John ‘Lofty’ Wiseman

I was lucky enough to catch up with SAS and survival legend John ‘Lofty’ Wiseman at The Bushcraft Show recently.

If there was one person you would want to have with you in a marooned and attuned survival situation for real, it could well be Lofty.

At the age of 18, Lofty was the youngest person ever to pass SAS selection. During his 26 years in the SAS, he set up counter-hijack and counter-terrorism teams as well as developing survival training for the regiment.

Despite being very much in demand, Lofty agreed to spend some time to be marooned and attuned.
