The historical AK-47 brought with it such a “cool” factor that the company decided to release more, with limited availability. But MDC wants to keep this hush-hush. So, whatever you do, don’t share this with all of your friends.

Based on the iconic AK-47 rifles used in the Balkan Wars of the 90s, each “Trench Art” Classic is hand-crafted. Built on MDC’s MDC-47 receivers and high-quality Romanian military-grade parts kits, the rifles exceed original military-grade AK requirements. Not to mention, the tuned MDC performance trigger delivers optimal performance and accuracy.

The true story behind these AKs is the original “Trench Art” wood furniture, brought back to life by MDC. However, in this second run, MDC makes it clear that not all wood is guaranteed with art. This is most likely due to availability following the initial run. Which is all the more reason to get yours now because there may not be a third run.

And this Sunday, February 5^th, at 8 AM PST, you can add one of these historical rifles to your collection.

Utilizing original parts kits and “Trench Art” wood furniture, these hand-crafted rifles exceed the original military-grade AK requirements. Each rifle builds on Meridian Defense Corp’s MDC-47 receiver and utilizes high-quality original Romanian military-grade parts kits. In addition, MDC uses its American-made 4150 CMV Chrome-lined barrels. As a result, they provide great accuracy and longevity.

Where the rifles really speak to you is in the wood furniture. Each piece tells its own individual story via carved art, various markings, initials, stickers, etc. As a result, each rifle is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of functional art. Likewise, MDC completely refinishes the rifles in a matte blue finish. However, to maintain the battlefield finish and aesthetic, the company distresses the finished pieces to round out the theme.

MDC hand-builds each rifle and utilizes CNC machines to ensure dimensional accuracy. Likewise, the company fully heat treats the receivers in a salt bath and includes proper Safe & Fire markings as well as selector notches. Similarly, all critical components undergo a thorough inspection and precise measurements for proper tolerances.

Every rifle receives the new MDC performance trigger, which the company tunes for the best performance. Likewise, MDC checks each rifle for function with an assortment of standard AK magazines. This includes Magpul, US Palm, Circle 10, Polish, Yugo, and Russian magazines.

• Each rifle is hand built with a high level of attention to detail and utilizes CNC machines to ensure dimensional accuracy. The receiver is fully heat treated in a salt bath to a hardness of 40 HRC. Our receivers have the proper Safe & Fire markings as well as the Selector Notches. Receivers are tumbled for smooth carrier cycling and function.
• Built with original military-grade parts.
• All critical components are thoroughly inspected and measured for proper tolerances.
• Barrels are 4150 CMV with Chrome lining for a lifetime of hard use.
• Properly head spaced with Go-Gauge, No-Go-Gauge, Field-Gauge, and live cartridges for reliable use.
• 14x1LH threaded barrel and plunger equipped front sight block allows for use of standard 14x1LH devices on this AK.
• Front Sight Block and Gas Block are trued to the action and aligned with the bore.
