The new inlet provides a perfect fit for the Ruger American Short Action rifle. Thus providing an enhanced shooting experience, accuracy, and comfort for the popular bolt-action rifle. Built for comfort, the traditionally shaped polymer stock is also designed for warmth during long hunts in colder weather.

Utilizing V-Block bedding and a free-floating barrel, the stock promotes improved shot consistency and accuracy. Likewise, the adjustable length of pull and cheek riser ensures a custom fit for a more comfortable and stable shooting position.

On September 6, 2023, Tactical Life reported:

Currently available for the Remington 700 SA, the MDT Field Stock delivers high-end functionality at an entry-level price. Whether for long-range shooting sports or hunting, the stock delivers length of pull (LOP) and cheek riser adjustments. Likewise, the aluminum V-Block bedding and overmolded polymer body provide additional accuracy for your rifle’s action.

Configurable for any shooting discipline, the Field Stock features an overmolded polymer body. As a result, the stock remains warm to the touch, even on cold hunts. Likewise, the polymer construction also helps to keep the overall weight down to 3.1 pounds.

Nestled within the body is the 6061 aluminum core, which incorporates V-Block bedding. The V-Block bedding provides a solid connection for the rifle while free-floating the barrel. As a result, you will experience enhanced accuracy that is not affected by temperature or humidity. So, your hunt or range excursion will not be determined by the weather.

Providing an optimized fit for every shooter, the Field Stock includes a toolless adjustable cheek riser for consistent scope alignment. Likewise, the included spacers allow you to adjust the length of pull for optimal comfort for long-range shots.

The forend includes four M-LOK slots at the 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 9 o’clock positions. This allows you to install the accessories of your choice, depending on the intended shooting discipline. Likewise, included sling swivel studs at both ends provide durable sling attachment points for long treks through the woods.

Additionally, the stock is compatible with AICS magazines and includes an ambidextrous magazine release just forward the polygonal trigger guard.

The MDT Field Stock is currently only available for the Remington 700 short action, but more compatibility will be available soon.
