Mossberg Pump-Action Turkey Guns Topped With Holosun Red Dots
Three small versions of the 500 Turkey, including a Super Bantam with adjustable length-of-pull, and an 835 Ulti-Mag with 3.5-inch chamber include the Holosun HS407K. All four guns feature Mossy Oak Greenleaf full camouflage coverage and 20-inch barrels.
These shotguns still bring everything we’ve come to know and love in a Mossberg as well. Each shotgun employs non-binding, twin action bars, dual extractors and the famed steel-to-steel lockup. An anti-jam elevator, anodized aluminum receiver and Mossberg’s signature ambidextrous top-mounted safety bring that familiar look and feel.
Each gun comes standard with an optic-cut receiver and a pre-mounted Holosun. Extended choke tubes, a fiber-optic front, drilled and tapped receiver, sling swivel studs, optic plate, and 5+1 capacity round out each package.
Holosun HS407K
The HS407K micro dot sight utilizes a 6 MOA dot reticle. It comes with 12 brightness settings and unlimited eye relief. A convenient battery tray, Shake Awake feature and up to 50,000 hours of battery life highlight this capable optic. And to match the turkey theme, the olive finish blends right in to the Mossy Oak Greenleaf finish.

The new optic-ready platforms join the company’s 500 and 835 Ulti-Mag pump lines. Already packed with solid hunting options, the new offerings deliver robust shotguns featuring receiver cut for low-profile, directing mounting of microdot sights. The shotguns utilize the popular Shield RMSc pattern. Each gun comes fully camouflaged in Mossy Oak Greenleaf, a popular pattern. The 500 Turkey Optic-Ready comes in .410 bore and 20 gauge. Meanwhile, the 835 Ulti-Mag Turkey Optic-Ready comes as a 12-gauge, 3.5-inch platform.
In our experience, Mossberg pump guns flat out run. The design features include non-binding twin action bars and dual extractors. You get steel-to-steel lock-up and an anti-jam elevator. An anodized aluminum receiver sports Mossberg’s signature ambidextrous, top-mounted safety.
