Widely popular for its simplicity, accuracy, and easy operation, the Glock 17 established the plain Jane aesthetics for all Glocks. The TALO Glock 17 Gen4 Special Edition
The Glock that started it all, the Glock 17, builds on a high-strength polymer frame. As a result, the full-size pistol is a super-light 22.05 ounces unloaded. Likewise, at 32.28 ounces loaded, the Glock 17 provides a neutral balance for comfortable operation.
In addition, the G17 features the recognizable Glock stippled grip with stippled finger grooves on the front strap. Likewise, the modular backstrap design of the Gen4 allows shooters to dial in the perfect fit, regardless of hand size. Left-handed shooters will also appreciate the reversible enlarged magazine release that is changeable at a user level.
For the most part, Glocks are nothing to really look at, with a very plain and simple aesthetic. This is where TALO Distributors comes in with its special edition G17 with special slide treatments. The stainless steel slide maintains the overall Glock look and feel but with stylish embellishments.
Available in either a black DLC or stainless PVD finish, the slide still includes the Glock vertical rear cocking serrations. However, surrounding the serrations is armory-grade cut engraved floral scrollwork running the length of the 7.32-inch slide. Although the flats are polished, the top is left in a satin finish to maintain the shootability outdoors.
Featuring a sight radius of 6.69 inches, the G17 offers increased accuracy. Rounds are sent downrange via Glock’s Safe Action trigger with trigger blade safety and 6.3-pound pull. Likewise, the 17+1 round capacity ensures plenty of follow-up shots for home and personal protection.
