The B&T APC9 Pro submachine gun just got a little more diverse. The company announced two new Limited Series additions, both with aluminum lower receivers on an SBR platform.
B&T APC9 Pro Limited Series SBRs
Each new SBR features a newly developed MBT folding and telescoping stock. The aluminum receivers come fitted with fully ambidextrous controls. Meanwhile, a flared magazine well and re-contoured M-LOK compatible forend promotes better speed and control. The Limited Series consists of a 6.9-inch barreled model and an 8.9-inch variant. Both utilize tri-lug attachment systems compatible with B&T’s line of RBS9 tri-lug suppressors, among others.
“The heart of the new APC9 Limited guns is our new fully ambidextrous aluminum lower receiver featuring a highly functional flared magazine well similar in size and shape to our popular jet-funnel accessory yet formed directly into the receiver,” said Chris Mudgett Vice President of Marketing, B&T USA. “We hit the sweet spot with the 8.9-inch variant with its longer slick forend and MBT stock; this combination makes for an extremely fast-handling, lightweight, ergonomic platform whose fit can be so dialed in, it feels like a natural extension.”
The new SBRs also feature M-LOK accessory slots at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions. The all-new folding, telescopic MDT stock features a three-position cheek riser. It doubles down with eight length-of-pull settings for more versatility and function. A pair of QD slings come fitted on each side of the stock. Meanwhile, a rubberized buttstock delivers a secure purchase. Finally, a flat-faced Elftmann Tactical trigger rounds out this workman package.
