New sediment filter design
After SO MANY iterations of this 55 gallon drum sediment filter I’ve found the BEST so far. I call it the “reverse filter”. I wanted a filtering system that was easy to clean and worked well. We have an outdoor system and random debris along with the fish poop sediment took a toll on our grow beds. We redesigned it in a different fashion.
It deposits sediments below the filter thereby blocking them from floating upwards to the exit tubes that feed the grow beds. It’s sort of an upside down filter.
